The Abington Community Taskforce, a coalition of diverse organizations working together to enhance the effectiveness of programs and services for youth and their families in order to ensure a safe and caring community, this year gave its Citizens That Care Recognition Award to the Abington Township Fire Department.

ATFD was honored in recognition of its “extraordinary and dedicated service to Abington Township and its youth.”
